So I've been wanting to do an Alec/Eliot vid for some time. But as much as I love that pairing, I love the OT3 with Parker even more. Alas, I did not have a song. I just wanted to vid. So I'd been playing the iPod on shuffle. I figured that surely with nearly 6000 tracks, there had to be something that was right.

So there's this awesome sg1/matrix fusion story called "Operator", written by ![[info - livejournal.com]](http://s.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) troyswann/Salieri. Before I finished reading, I knew I wanted to vid it.
Took me a while to get around to the actual construction of the vid, but once I did? Well, I didn't start this until late Sunday afternoon. It was effectively done by 2am. Insta-vid!
Huge thanks go out to dragojustine for pointing out what I missed, paian for her always excellent notes, and linda3m and karitawyr for their support and patience during my Vid Farr.
I'm trying yet another source for the streaming vid... please let me know if it's good or bad? Thank you. Okay, that didn't really work the way I'd like. I think I'll be sticking with youtube. *sigh*

So, um. Yeah.
Obviously there are spoilers, but I don't think there's anything in this that would actually spoil any plot point in the movie.
Trying new things for streaming online. I'm tempted to not even bother with youtube because everything looks dark there anyhow, and this one is darker than most. I know I'll be redoing this once the dvd comes out.
So. Bam Video Vault. I'd never heard of this one before, so please let me know if/how it works for you. :) (edit - went ahead and used the youtube in the end. just not happy with the stats on bam. :( )

I started this one right before Escapade. After eleventy billion overhauls, I present it for your... whatever.

Should I be mentioning the music ahead of time? I just realized I pretty much never do, unless you count when the title of the vid is the title of the song. This is 4 Minutes by Madonna and Justin Timberlake. (wtf is this doing in my music collection? I have no idea. But I like it. So it goes)

Someone at some point posted a Jack O'Neill playlist on lj. At least a couple years ago, I believe. This song was on it. Been bouncing it around in my head as a vid song for a little while now.

This is not what I originally set out to do. But this is what I ended up with. I think I'm pretty happy with it.
edit - It's been over a year now, and I am sorely tempted to rework the whole thing. But, well... I'm too damn lazy. I was happy with it then, I shall endeavor to be happy with it now.
